ecoENERGY Retrofit Grants and Incentives
Effective March 31, 2010
the ecoENERGY Retrofit - Homes program is no longer accepting bookings for pre-retrofit evaluations. The program will continue to be administered until March 31, 2011. If you have already booked an appointment for a pre-retrofit evaluation, have completed an evaluation or applied for re-entry to the program, you remain eligible to apply for a grant.

UNITED STATES
Residential Renewable Tax Credit Under the Energy Policy Act, the U.S. Government offers a personal tax credit up to a maximum of $2,000 on the installation of a geothermal heat pump. Geothermal heat pumps must meet the requirements of the Energy Star program. The incentive is available to homeowners until December 31, 2016. The home served by the system does not have to be the taxpayer’s principal residence.
