GeoSmart helps with Haiti water well project

GeoSmart Energy contributed $3,000 to Lifewater Canada which went towards the purchase of a 6x6 truck that will assist in the drilling of water wells in even the most remote parts of Haiti.

The money was sent directly to Lifewater Canada's team of local men and women in Haiti and will help them to obtain safe water, sanitation and basic health/hygiene training.

Specifically, the money was used to help supply needed equipment including a Pinzgauer 6x6 Truck with Secure Storage. This truck will enable the drillers to mobilize to remote communities, even during the 6 month rainy and hurricane seasons when many roads are impassable to most 4 wheel drive vehicles.
